INSPIRED Action

Step 4: Take inspired action

You’d think this was pretty straight forward right – take action!

But as I’ve practiced this, I’ve discovered a few things that might help you…

Maybe your someone who likes to take action, and you think you’ve got this…

Great!  Your challenge will be to take INSPIRED action.

Though taking any action usually is better than doing nothing, if you can learn to discern between actions that just keep you busy and inspired actions that actually lead you to your goals, you will have more time to enjoy your life along the way.

Also, there is wisdom in “stillness” and enjoying the journey as well, find a balance.

Maybe your someone who resists action…

Your challenge is going be to stop resisting and manage your brain around the discomfort it causes you.

Or perhaps you take action until you burn out, then you do nothing until you’re depressed, and back and forth.  You will need to manage your brain on both sides of this thought swinging.

I suspect we all land somewhere in the middle…

But no matter what your tendencies are, using the model to manage what’s going on in your thoughts and emotions will be of great worth to you as you move towards your manifestations.

Another thing is to learn to take INSPIRED action AKA follow the spirit’s promptings always.

Even when you don’t see any benefit to your goal.

In many cases, my next steps weren’t what I’d expected them to be.

A prompting to drive around the neighborhood one Sunday afternoon, led to a visit with a friend we hadn’t see for 6 months, which resulted in a phone number we’d been trying to get, which led to a job offer shortly thereafter, and eventually to us moving.

So, learn to hear and act on all spiritual promptings, you never know if any of them will result in blessings you have been asking for.

And all the other times, you will be blessing the people around you.

Step 5: receive and express gratitude

I thought this would be the easiest part…

But through experience, this still takes effort on our part.

Sometimes what we are trying to manifest shows up for us in the most bazar and unexpected ways.  Letting go of what WE think it should look like can be challenging.

But miracles and manifestations show up in many ways.

Once my children needed clothes and we were very tight on money.  I was looking for some extra money to show up somehow so we could go buy them.

One day I opened my front door to a bag of clothes.  Yes, they were hand-me-downs, but they were the cutest and fanciest hand-me-downs, with ruffles and frills.

I was hoping to buy a batch of $3 t-shirts from Walmart, but what showed up was a bag full of designer clothes.

I may have missed this blessing if I wasn’t open to receiving this blessing in a way I had not expected.

No matter how these miracles show up, express gratitude for them.  Gratitude shows the brain that you noticed how it helped you and it will want to do more of that for you.
