Energy in Motion

The emotions you and I experience each day are different vibrations, or states of energy.

Emotions are our ‘energy in motion.’

E-motion, or MOOD.

In fact, it has been proven that emotions such as love and gratitude have a higher vibration than that of anger and resentment.

Think about a time in your life when you were so happy or filled with such gratitude…

Were you particularly productive, helpful, inspired, or encouraged that day?

Now think of a time when you woke up “on the wrong side of the bed”…

Did things seem to go from bad to worse…

The MOOD we choose to focus on, and live in, will determine the type of energy we surround ourselves with…

And that energy will attract energy like it.

So pick your energy by picking your mood.

This is the reason gratitude journals or accomplishment lists are so helpful. It is one of the easiest ways to show your brain physical evidence of a new mood. That new mood shifts your vibration to bring better things towards you.

–experiment with this… notice what your thoughts and feelings are. Are they grateful, happy, sad, annoyed, etc? As you go through your day, notice if you attract interactions with others that are similar to how you are feeling? Make notes and look back at the end of the day at what you discovered.

Exchange Energy All Day Long

Our first impression of someone is energetic.

Have you ever walked in a room where someone was very upset, and then tried to sneak out before they noticed you?

No words were spoken, but you could tell from the energy in the room they were not in a good mood…

Or perhaps there are some people you love to be around because they are happy and joyful and they energize you.

These are examples of your energy interacting with other people’s energy, even when no words are spoken and often before we assess their body language.

From this first glimpse of energy, we make assumptions and judgments about people and situations.

Furthermore, we are constantly interacting with our environment and circumstances.

For example, on gloomy days we tend to feel more glum, and less productive.

On sunny days we tend to feel happier and more productive.

That doesn’t mean we can’t change it, it just might take a little more effort.

Sometimes we need space and quiet time to withdraw and think, or recuperate, lowering our energetic state.

Sometimes we need to interact with others and multiply that energetic state.

–Think about someone you interact with all the time…

Can you tell what mood they are in when they enter the room?

Begin to notice these subtle interactions with energy.
