Everything is created spiritually before it is created physically.
What is manifesting?
Manifesting is causing something in the unseen realm to show up in physical form.
Manifesting is co-creating with the Lord.
If He wants us to be like He is, then He wants us to learn how to create like He does and He will teach us how to do this…
The scriptures say, many times, “Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. (Matt. 7:7)
This is a call to co-create life experiences with the Lord.
Are there miracles you’d like to see happen in your life?
Would you be willing to be a part of that creation process?
How about we write this pattern like this, so it looks a little clearer…
- Know what you want
- Ask for it
- Believe you can have it
- Act on Inspiration
- Receive and express gratitude for it
Looks straight forward and simple, right?
Except by now, you and I know there is more to it than that.
There is some spiritual work and effort that goes along with this process…
And much of it will center around managing our human brains.
So, let’s look at what each part might look like…
Step 1: know what you want
We’d all like more money, better relationships, and better health…
And so you’d think this was an easy step…
But sometimes it’s not.
Sometimes we know what we want, but can’t see a clear path to get it, so we decide maybe it’s not what we want after all and stop pondering about it or settle for something less.
Or we start believing that maybe God doesn’t want this for me; I’ll just leave it up to Him.
Carol Tuttle wrote, “If you believe that turning your life over to God means not making any choices or decisions, then you are forgetting your accountability to function as a conscious human being. Perhaps it is an excuse for not wanting to take responsibility for the drama and [struggle] you are creating in your life. We have been given creative powers and are meant to participate in an active relationship with the universe. It requires conscious attention and skill.”
She further wrote, “We are on a planet of free choice to come to a knowledge of … laws and to become like God. ”
When you are in a state of ‘not-knowing’ you don’t make plans, you don’t try to improve, you don’t take action, you do nothing but live what you’ve already created in your life.
If you don’t know, start trying to know J
TRY ON… things; clothes, foods, friends, jobs, skills…
You’ll like it or you won’t, and then you’ll know!
Or you can return to your old habits, clothes, friends, etc. and justify or defend those habits – the choice is yours.
Observe less about what HAS happened in your life and imagine MORE of what you want to happen. We’ll talk about how to do this more in a few pages.
Live the energies NOW, that you wish to live in the future.
If you want more friends, imagine sitting around a table laughing and snacking.
If you want more money, imagine what you’d like to use it for.
If you want a better job, what kind would you like and what are the people around you like?
–Let yourself pretend you have it for just a few minutes. Because this is new, your RAS won’t like it and you will experience cognitive dissonance. Keep pretending anyway for just a minute more. Then go about your day.
